PSI HARDWARE — Privacy Policy

PSI HARDWARE ("the app", "we", "us") is a product showcase app for PSI's hardware line. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. In short: the app has no servers of its own, requires no account, and does not collect or sell your personal data.

Information We Do Not Collect

• No account or sign-up is required to use the app.
• We operate no backend servers and do not receive, store, or sell any personal information.
• We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Location

The app does not request or collect your location. The e-bike Location screen simply opens your device's Maps app; any location handling from that point is governed by Apple Maps and your device settings, not by this app.

AI Assistant

The app includes an optional AI chat assistant that works on a "bring your own API key" basis. If you choose to use it:

• You provide your own API key for your chosen provider (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, or Google Gemini). The key is stored only on your device, in the iOS Keychain, and is never sent to us.
• When you send a message, your message text is sent directly from your device to the AI provider you selected, in order to generate a response. That text is handled under that provider's privacy policy.
• We do not operate a server in between, and we do not store or have access to your conversations or your API key.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores a small amount of data locally on your device only, such as your language preference, selected AI provider/model, and your AI API key (in the secure Keychain). This never leaves your device except as described above. You can remove it at any time by clearing the key in Settings → AI Assistant, or by deleting the app.

Third-Party Services

The app may send data to the following services only as described above:

• Anthropic (if you select Claude) — Privacy Policy
• OpenAI (if you select ChatGPT) — Privacy Policy
• Google (if you select Gemini) — Privacy Policy

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
